Reflection ๐Ÿ’ญ

Working on XFinance was an eye-opening experience in designing from an industry and enterprise perspective, where usability, compliance, and efficiency must coexist. The project challenged me to move beyond consumer-focused design and think critically about real organisational workflows, approval hierarchies, and system constraints. I was also introduced to new design approaches for complex, data-heavy interfaces, strengthening my ability to structure information clearly and design for multiple user roles. Overall, the project deepened my understanding of enterprise UX and expanded how I approach problem-solving in professional product environments.

Staying User Focused

Involving key stakeholders throughout the design process ensured that decisions were grounded in real user needs rather than assumptions. Regular feedback sessions helped validate ideas early, refine priorities, and prevent unnecessary complexity. This collaborative approach kept the project aligned with its core goals while resulting in more meaningful, usable, and impactful outcomes.

Embracing continuous feedback throughout the design process allowed us to test assumptions, uncover usability issues early, and refine solutions with confidence. Iterative design cycles ensured the product evolved in response to real user needs, resulting in a more polished, effective, and user-aligned outcome.
